Resources is basically the Bromos’ answer to society’s needs. While we are in no position yet to do anything other than give you enjoyment by way of our writing, we can give you resources that might help you, your friends and/or family. As much as we poke fun at ourselves on the site, we recognize that not everyone is out of the closet, and that not everyone has the most suitable living situation. We at BSW want to ensure that you get the most out of your experience here, and that led us to create this page. Feel free to leave comments suggesting other organizations and services that you’d like to see here!

The Trevor Project
We at Bromo Say What?! are huge advocates for suicide prevention and suicide intervention. We want our bromos’ light to shine as brightly as the sun, and we can’t stand the thought of anybody getting in the way of that! The Trevor Project is there for our LGBTQ stars when the light starts to flicker and we aren’t feeling very much like our best. Determined to end suicide among LGBTQ youth, the Project boasts a 24/7 crisis intervention hotline, a digital community, and advocacy/educational programs. Bromos have a natural affinity for helping others, so the Trevor Project is kinda BOSS!

… More to come!!

Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation
Bromos may have a lot to be glad about, but GLAAD takes it pride to a whole new level! For 25 years, it’s worked to bring about cultural change in our communities by way of our nation’s media. It has worked as a storyteller, amplifying our voices to the public; a watchdog, holding the media (which, is plural) accountable for their words; and as an advocate, strengthening grassroots movements and engaging local communities in order to advance social change. That said, we already know bromos are as bright as they come, so we present you with GLAAD’s career, fellowship and internship page! The opportunities are primarily based in New York and Los Angeles. Best of luck!

Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network
GLISTEN: What a hottie does after an hour or two at the gym Wrong definition! GLSEN strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. This would be very well-suited to the high school and college bromos. As far as we can tell, the positions here are for those with a post-undergraduate degree at least. Sorry kiddies! But there is something of value for you to do while you wait! Check out what they do as far as campus activism!!

… There will be much more to come!!
